Libyan Dad Honor Kills Three Daughters After Sexual Assault By Soldiers

 

A LIBYAN father killed his three daughters after pro-Gaddafi soldiers raped them, in an attempt to rid the family of the shame, a human rights group says.

Soldiers raped the sisters aged 15, 17 and 18 , in the town of Tomina, east Libya, US-based Physicians for Human Rights said.

When they returned home, their father slit their throats in what the rights group said was most likely an honour killing.

    Being the mother of two daughters I can tell you that I would defend them until my dying breath, as my husband would for the 3 of us. Sharia is not wanted here and it is not welcome. They should try and bring that to the Southern States, see how far they get. We sountherners are very opinionated and will stand up for what’s right. Mess with our daughters and it will not be them that is punished, it will be you.

    WTF ” honor killing ” ? For those 3 victimized girls got punished for not their crime, but pro- Gaddafi soldiers’. Father should go after soldiers, not to have murdered his innocent daughters. Damn him.
