Obama White House Adviser Azizah Al-Hibri Claims that Thomas Jefferson and the founding fathers were inspired by the Koran.
Obama has announced the appointment of Azizah al-Hibri to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Al-Hibri (full name, Azizah Yahia Muhammad Toufiq al-Hibri) is a Muslim professor and the granddaughter of a Sheikh, who claims that the Koran inspired Thomas Jefferson and the Founders and that the Saudi criminal justice system is more moral than the American one because it accepts blood money from murderers. Appointing a Muslim scholar to a commission on international religious freedom is only justifiable if that scholar recognized that much of the injustice in the world originates from Islamic law. Here again we have another example of Orwell-eon history. Our Founding Fathers read and understood The Geneva Bible, Blackstone’s “Commentary of the Law”, Cicero’s “On the Republic”, Baron Montesquieus’ “The Spirit of the Laws”, John Locke’s “Two Treatises of Government”, and Adam Smith “Wealth of Nations”, to frame the foundation for this Nation. The Constitution is based on Natural law and the rights of man. Nowhere in my historical reading have I found the Koran as a reference.

Why is Obama so fixated on making sure muslims are in every part of our government.The country was founded christian values. Obama wonders why so many think he is a muslim why would we. Thomas Jefferson’s Qu’ran
On Friday, August 13th, President Obama welcomed members of the Muslim community to the White House to celebrate the Islamic holiday of Ramadan with an Iftar banquet — the meal served after the sunrise-to-sunset fast. Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar.
In the course of his flattering remarks about the great contributions of Muslims to America, the President mentioned the presence at the banquet of two Muslim members of Congress: Andre Carson, Democrat from Indiana, and Keith Ellison, Democrat from Minnesota, the latter of whom took his oath on Thomas Jefferson’s copy of the Qu’ran, which has been preserved in the Library of Congress.
What the President didn’t mention is why Jefferson bought a Qu’ran in London and why he read it. In preparing for war, he read it to find out what kind of religion the rulers of the Barbary States on the coast of North Africa believed in.
For centuries the Muslim pirates had cruised the Mediterranean Sea, capturing ships and taking prisoners, forcing Christian nations to pay tribute for freedom of passage. To avoid such confrontations, some Christian nations were willing to appease the Islamic enemy by signing treaties requiring them to pay a certain amount of tribute each year. It was a form of extortion that Muslims could impose on frightened Christians.
The pirates also raided coastline villages and took prisoners. The reason why so many Christian Greek coastal villages were built up in the hills was to provide protection against the depredations of the Muslims. Millions of Africans and thousands of Christian Europeans and Americans were enslaved by these raiders, who killed many non-Muslim older men and women and kidnapped young women and children to be sold as concubines. The boys were often mutilated to create eunuchs for use in harems and as servants.
Congressman Keith Ellison, born in Detroit to a Catholic family, was converted at age 19 to Islam while at Wayne State University. In law school, he wrote articles in support of Louis Farrakhan, with whom he is no longer affiliated. He said he chose to use Jefferson’s Qu’ran because it showed that “a visionary like Jefferson” believed that wisdom could be gleaned from many sources. Actually, it wasn’t wisdom that Jefferson gleaned from the Qu’ran, but a realistic understanding of what the United States was up against with the Barbary Pirates.
In 1786, Jefferson, then the American ambassador to France, and John Adams, then the American ambassador to Britain, met in London with Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the Tripolitan ambassador to Britain. American merchant ships had been captured by the Barbary corsairs and their crews and passengers imprisoned. They could only by freed by the payment of large ransoms. The Americans wanted to negotiate a peace treaty to spare their ships these piratical attacks. Congress was willing to appease the Barbary pirates if only they could gain peace at a reasonable price.
During the meeting, Jefferson and Adams asked the ambassador why Muslims held such hostility toward America, a nation with which they had had no previous contacts. Jefferson later reported to John Jay what the ambassador had told them: the reason for the Muslims’ enmity was that “It was written in their Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman (Muslim) who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to [P]aradise.”
What was Paradise like? George Sale, the translator of the English edition of the Quran that Jefferson had purchased, wrote in his commentary:

[T]he very meanest in paradise will have eighty thousand servants, seventy-two wives of the girls of paradise, besides the wives he had in this world, and a tent erected for him of pearls, jacinths, and emeralds, of a very large extent; and, according to another tradition, will be waited on by three hundred attendants while he eats, will be served in dishes of gold, whereof three hundred shall be set before him at once, containing each a different kind of food . . . [T]here will be no want of wine, which, though forbidden in this life, will yet be freely allowed to be drunk in the next, and without danger, since the wine of paradise will not inebriate, as that we drink here. . . . .[T]he inhabitants of paradise will not need to ease themselves, nor even to blow their nose, for that all superfluities will be discharged and carried off by perspiration, or a sweat as odoriferous as musk, after which their appetite shall return afresh.
So Jefferson was well aware of the superstitious lunacy and irrationality that motivated the Muslims willing to die as martyrs for Mohammed. And when he became President, he resolved to repel force by force. Within days of his inauguration, Jefferson ordered four warships to sail to the Barbary Coast and blockade and attack any Barbary State that was at war with the United States. Jefferson and his Cabinet all agreed that American power was needed to protect the young nation’s commercial interests in the Mediterranean.
Joseph Wheelan writes in Jefferson’s War that the third U.S. President “pitted a modern republic with a free-trade, entrepreneurial creed against a medieval autocracy whose credo was piracy and terror. It matched an ostensibly Christian nation against an avowed Islamic one that professed to despise Christians…. Jefferson was willing to send a largely untried squadron across the Atlantic to go to war with a people whose customs, history, and religion were alien to the early American experience.”
The new President did not have a CIA to tell him what the enemy was like. He found that out by reading the Quran he had bought for his own edification. In other words, Jefferson’s copy of the Quran helped him understand the nature and mentality of the Muslim enemy. He was wise enough to do his own research long before the United States government had any intelligence apparatus.
The Barbary War was the first foreign war fought and won by the newly independent United States. After many attempts to appease the duplicitous Barbary Muslims, the U.S. finally decided that force was the only way to put an end to the piracy. And thanks to Jefferson, a new U.S. Navy was created to fight and win this war.
The result was that the United States and the Christian nations of Europe were then able to keep the Muslims at bay for over a hundred years. The French went so far as to invade Algeria and colonize it with Europeans. But in 1960, Charles de Gaulle undid it all — and now there are over five million Muslims in France. Indeed, the loss of Christian nerve has once more opened the gates of the West to a barbaric Muslim offensive.
It’s hard to believe that all this history is unknown to Congressman Ellison as well as President Obama, who knows full well what is in the Quran and what motivates the global jihadists. He doesn’t need the CIA to tell him what we are up against in this new phase of our never-ending war with Islam, for as long as the religion of Islam exists it will never disobey its Prophet’s command to conquer unbelievers and dominate the world.

And another little factoid, that not only was the US Navy created to fight the Barbary Pirates, so were the Marines. There is a beautiful Marine memorial statue that used to sit quite prominently in Washington DC, but it was subsequently relegated to abject obscurity in a remote area of the US Naval Academy. Why? Because it is engraved with very vivid descriptions of the barbaric practices of Islam – NOT just the pirates themselves, but the force which motivated them. This memorial is no longer considered ‘politically correct.’
THE TRIPOLI MONUMENT The oldest military monument in the United States honors heroes of the War against the Barbary Coast Pirates, the new republic’s first war. In 1804, President Jefferson ordered the nation’s tiny naval force to the Mediterranean to protect the expanding trade of the new United States against the pirates, who demanded ransom for safe passage of merchant ships. “Millions for defense, but not on cent for tribute” became the rallying cry for this war. Jefferson’s action established the doctrine of extension of power overseas and created a permanent United States Navy.
On “the shores of Tripoli,” young Americans took brave actions against the pirates, including torching their own grounded vessel, the USS Philadelphia, to prevent her use by the pirates. Six men were killed before Tripoli’s “pasha” relented. Congress cited them for their gallantry and Captain David Porter, one of the pirates’ captives, instituted a campaign for a monument to honor his former shipmates, now heroes.
The monument was carved in 1806 in Italy, of Carrera marble, and brought to the United States as ballast on board the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides). From the Washington Navy Yard it moved to the west terrace of the national Capitol. It has stood at the Naval Academy since 1860.
Renovation of the Monument was completed in June 2000 through the leadership of CAPT Warren B. Johnson ’47, thanks to gifts from the VADM Eliot H Bryant & Miriam H Bryant Endowments and Friends of the Save the Tripoli Monument Committee.

Here is what our founders really knew of muslims…….
America has been fighting Islamists for longer than many realize or care to explore. Even before independence was declared as I stated above in the conveniently forgotten history in the writers attempt to rewrite history, American ships were pirated and their Christian crews enslaved by Muslim pirates operating under the control of the “Dey of Algiers”—an Ottoman Islamist warlord ruling Algeria. When the colonists rebelled against British rule in 1776, American ships lost Royal Navy protection. A Revolutionary-War era alliance with France offered French protection to US ships, but it expired in 1783. Immediately US ships came under attack and in October 1784 the American trader “Betsey” was taken by Moroccan forces. This was followed with Algerians and Libyans (Tripolitans) capturing two more US ships in 1785. Lacking the ability to project US naval force in the Mediterranean, America tried appeasement. In 1784, Congress agreed to fund tributes and ransoms in order to rescue US ships and buy the freedom of enslaved US sailors.
In 1786 Thomas Jefferson, then US ambassador to France, and John Adams, then US Ambassador to Britain, met in London with Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja, the Dey’s ambassador to Britain, in an attempt to negotiate a peace treaty based on Congress’ vote of funding. There are some comments that are representative of stereotypes rather than a global picture of how muslims practice Islam. There are multiple communities of practice of Islam,that was the religion of Jesus Christ, all the the messengers and prophets before him since Adam to prophet Abraham Peace be upon him and his posterity and then to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).Seen in this light Christian values are Islamic values and followers of Jesus have been mentioned with honor.Therefore,there is no need to generate disparaging remarks for Islam as such as this would be then disparaging for the messenger Jesus (PBUH) as well. Misdeeds of men and women who were and are muslims are their this has nothing to do with the criterion that has been sent down for all the humanity till the Day of Judgement. According to Ismaili muslims, only the IMAM of the TIME has the authority to interpret Islam and those who are working on conjectures and fabrications need to be held accountable for the same. Command for prayer is common, command for tithes is common , command against homosexuality and adultery is common. Command against usury if common with all the faiths across the texts with reference to the monotheistic ideals. Thus defence of Islamic values is essential defense of Christian values recognising what was sent down to Jesus (PBUH) was divine and muslims affirm to this sending salam in all the salaats( prayers ) 5/3 times a day throught the year..It is important to endeavour to these commons and there is need to build unity on this for building cohesive and ecologically safe America.Muslims are not enemies of followers of Jesus and Moses with reference to what was recieved as divine communication through them and muslims globally are perhaps the most frequent reciters of benedictions and salam to the messengers and prophets without making any distinction among them.

Very interesting indeed, but the question is WHICH IS REAL ISLAM? In my humble view the eternal stream of Hindu India’s Hindu Islam is the REAL ISLAM.Its language is the ancient classical language of non-Arab Asia (ie Hindu Asia)SANSKRIT, and it is Vedic, not Koranic.Vedas are the most ancient Koran of the Hindus.But due to medieval anti-Indian Arab/Muslim Imperialism, this vital truth could not find recognition and the great ancient tradition of India’s Hindu Islam faced a lot of odds to remain alive.Thanks to this word HINDU, the invaders and other tyrannical Muslim rulers of medieval India, could not uproot it, and it survived.Hindu Islam is the Real Islam.

Obama is a Muslim, a liar, a fraud, and shouldn’t even be President. He was born in Kenya and has yet to prove otherwise. He and his group are trying to dismantle our Constitution and the next move he will make is to become dictator of the United States. Think back on how Hitler took over Germany.
