Lawyers for the families of the victims claim that there is evidence that shows the cupability of iran in the planning and implementation of the Attacks.The testimony of Three Iranian defectors supports the claim that officials in iran had prior knowledge of the attack. The defectors had access to classified information as they were part of iran‘s intellegince agency.
